He represented a group of countries called g7+ and asked everyone to work together again to make the world a peaceful and safe place where people can live well and take care of the planet.
President Bio, who speaks for countries that are having a tough time, said that it’s really important for countries to work together to solve the daily problems they face.
He pointed out that these problems are real and happen every day, not just ideas we talk about. He believes that the “Pact for the Future” is an important plan that can help make life better for millions of people.He talked about important things that countries in the G7+ group should focus on.
These include letting each country take charge of its own plans, making sure everyone has a voice in decision-making, helping to keep peace around the world, finding new ways to fund projects that help the environment and communities, and using science and technology to work together.
He also highlighted how important young people are and said we should give them the power to make changes instead of just waiting for help.President Bio wants to change how the United Nations makes decisions so that Africa has a fair voice.
He also asked other leaders to help build trust in countries that are having a hard time, because that trust is really important for keeping peace.As the UN Summit of the Future happens, people are hopeful that the Pact for the Future will help make things better in places where there are fights and problems.
